Chava Alpert, MSW, LCSW has been providing clinical services to children and their families for over 20 years in the greater Chicago area. Ms. Alpert has her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from The Ben Gurion University in Israel and her Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University in New York City.
Ms Alpert's experience is expansive having worked at some of Chicago's most respected clinical institutions such as Kelidescope, Virginia Frank Child Development Center, Childhood Network of Evanston and Ramah Day camp.
Ms Alpert's therapeutic focus includes specializations such as:
The parenting journey
Individual, child and family therapy

Advocacy for families in their process of accessing services for their children in the public school system
Reflective social emotional consultation to teachers and administrators

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Alpert provides mental health consultation to 4 full-day child care centers in Evanston and serves as the Mental Health consultant to a local Headstart program.
Throughout her career, Ms. Alpert has helped hundreds of families and early childhood educators through her services in delivering mental health, advocacy and educational services.
With three children in High School, Middle school and elementary school, Ms Alpert has lots of personal experience with the joys and challenges of parenting.
